gfx was faulty...flickering colours when i playing dota...so went back to the shop the next day to do a swap...lucky the com guy met up with me and helped me "negotiate"...in the end i topped up some cash to get a 9600gt instead...got a tv card as well as the old one conked out on me...aso changed my casing too...

food generally sux...those worth mentioning are the crepes...both the main course and the dessert...i liked the mushroom soup but the rest dont like...and the bread too...no idea why...standard like dropped alot imo...rosti was alot better last time...

let's recap...last fri...played mj with my bro, sadthew and his cuz until morning time...camped over at sadthew's place...when we woke up in the afternoon, we went straight to town to meet yy...he renewed his kino membership while i go shop for my book...wanted to go killiney eat gosu porridge but sadthew jus pulled stunts and made us sad...

soon after...it was almost time to set off to meet 86 they all at yck mrt...sadthew drove there...big car...lucky we are...as usual...i was early...expected of myself... =) but the others jus came late...1 by 1...30min intervals...sad i became...jus wait and wait...kind always get abused...sad...

after like 1hr+, the last person finally arrived...bringing the no. of pple in the car to a total of 8...86, milah, jh, jeanne, desmond, sadthew, yy and me...

set off for turf club...lucky we found our way there w/out hor-lan-ing...gosu navigators we are...went to some owen restaurant and ordered a set meal for 10 pax...painful...but it's ok...we all felt the pain tgt...lol...no1 is sadder thn the other...

after our expensive but nt-up-to-std yet filling dinner...we drove ard the place...sadthew said no town...and our choices kena cut like dog...finally settled for coffee bucks at west mall...

i got free stuff here...and here they are...

after chilling for awhile, we left for our individual routes...sadthew, yy and me went back to my place for mj again...3p mahjong...pwned yy dip dip...he did not disappoint us as the legendary prata man...sadthew helped me reformat my com cos i was experiencing some lag during dota...he sent yy home in the morning and this concludes my wkend last wk...

went sls someday during the wk to get some hardware for my com...cos after reformatting...the lag still occurred and i opened up the casing and found out the fan on my gfx was gg-ed...met sadthew...bought a nvidia 9500gt gfx, samsung dvd writer and 2 sticks of 2gb ram...total dmg almost 300...half a month of pay gone...


reached home...tried to fix the new stuff in...and i saw my heatsink is super duper er xin...look at this...


how can i not be tempted to clean up this crap?went to my laptop and searched youtube on how to remove heatsink and processor...finally got it out and started cleaning...done...put everything back...gg...com on for 2 sec and auto shut down...asked on forums...motherboard and processor burnt...most prob due to my noob-ness...dunno how to assemble...jus anyhow whack...self pwned...sux to be me...

found a guy on the forums who does com stuff for a fee...came down to my place on friday with my new parts...p45 neo3 motherboard and intel e5200 2.5ghz core2 duo processor...ouch...another 300 gone down the drain...1 more half of my pay gone...



after 2-3 hrs of installing and reformatting...my com is finally rdy to go...nice...played a dota game with my new com...why new?cos based on the above, i changed most of the hardware parts in my com less power supply, hdd, casing, monitor, keyboard and mouse which do not rly affect my com's performance...nice game...no lag at all...even when i alt tab...happy me...

sadthew and his cuz came over ltr to play mj with my bro and me again...after another overnight of mj-ing...we met at yck mrt again the next day...this time...only got sadthew, yy and me...was supposed to go tung lok eat but we could not get a last...nd min 4 pax to go for the buffet...so anyone wanna go?pls register with me...nd at least a last for tung lok...

and thus...sadthew drove us to vittles near chong pang...30 sec walking distance frm the 24hrs drive thru...got a table, wrote our orders on the order chit, paid up at the counter and went back to wait for our food...

got free flow of popcorn...

we ate 2 baskets...thn came our soup and iced peach tea...

since it was a friday...yy and me get to dismiss early...5pm...on the dot somemore...wonder why...lol...made our way to amk and as usual, early we were...xm and mr goh were at chomp chomp alrdy or on their way there...86 met us awhile ltr at the interchange...thn we took bus to chomp chomp...

found the couple and we sat down...while waiting for more late comers aka milah, jeanne and alvin; the foreign talent team xD, it started raining...and rly sot rain...suddenly so big...gg...seats wet...but heck...it's a friday...aunties started taking out their umbrellas...shield here and there...

and when the rain stopped, milah and jeanne appeared...talk abt gd timing...without waiting for the alvin, we started ordering food...and began eating of course...2 tables...1 table with 4 gals, the other with 3 guys...the gals started their story telling and news update sharing and our side only bothered abt the food...

alvin came after we almost finished all our food...and thus, 2nd round of food...almost the same stuff...long time din see alvin...so caught up with him for a while...although his camp is near mine, his timing is not consistent...so ya...eat and eat...talk and talk...happiest guy of cos was mr goh...he finished ns alrdy...



after the food, made our way to the usual coffee bucks cafe which was jus a stone's throw away...some drinks and some cakes...talking abt cakes...i miss secret recipe cakes...JB version...cos they are only half the price compared to our 7% GST country...jus some random chatter here and there and xm left 1st with mr goh...alvin too cos he got duty the next day...leaving 86, milah, jeanne, yy and me...nfi...but the topics after they left were all mainly on female making up and whatnot...which explains why i was dozing off to the mr zhou gong's land while hearing yy grumbling on changing topic every now and thn...cant be bothered anw...tired + not my topic = no nd to talk = can rest...

and so...after they finally grew tired, we took cabs home...milah and jeanne solo-ed while 86, yy and me shared a cab...and of cos...congrats to jeanne for leaving the "wonderful" guy...now we no nd to put on a false front/smile during gatherings alrdy...

next day...2pm...reached ps to meet arnold...ljy the flabby ex-pti was late...so the 2 of us went to billy bombers at cathay 1st...2nd time we went there...and for same reason...to meet up and play magic cards...lol...gosu milkshake...


we played 1st and ljy reached ltr...in his shorts and slippers...1 hand holding his red ipod nano and the other holding his magic cards in his "deck box"; an a4 size paper wrapped ard the cards...saddest "deck box" i ever seen...and look what does he have...


proxy cards...cos he threw away his cards accidentally when he was moving house...and now his "decks" are all power decks...played and chatted abt the old days at sji...thn time for dinner soon...

1 milkshake for whole afternoon...no wonder i could sense the staff getting pissed...but no business at tt time anw...and we left when the dinner crowd was coming...maybe we shld go back to ps's swensens next time since they din look pissed at all for the 4/5 times we played cards there?we went back to ps's ajisen to have our dinner...pardon the quality of the pics cos they were all taken by ljy...(hello steph when we going for more jap food again?)


more recaps of our sji days...the golden days...and i realize ljy's true self is revealed only in front of us since he says he's not as vulgar in his sch now...at least u dont have to act like some guai kia in front of us...so now...go fuck urself... =) anw...rly do miss the days in sji...where chaos was happening everyday and it was fun when all hell breaks loose...almost whole class standing outside cos nv do homework...and nd to go next class ask permission frm the teacher to use their corridor cos not enough space...fun-ess...

and i learnt smth new abt nus...they provide services such as printing of magic cards...tt's how ljy printed his proxy magic cards...nice way to utilize the sch's printing services...and here's wishing both of them gl for their exams in nus...sounds gg to me if i were to be taking...but luckily...my grades aint tt gd for me to be worrying abt it...

we parted ways after dinner and i played dota with xx, xin and hao...2 games and slp time...oh yah...got these before the game started...the few items on the menu tt are still affordable...

next day went out for lunch with my parents...went to maxwell food centre to eat the tian tian chicken rice...long queue...made the other stalls look sad...even more so for another chicken rice stall 4/5 stalls away...jitao ZERO pple and they have like 15 to 20 pple queueing at any one time...the food was good but the service is teh sux...maybe cos they know pple will still patronize them so jus abuse...saw alot of super unhealthy fried 小吃...maybe next time...

went home...played disgaea for the rest of the day...chiong-ed my levels...had this sad fish and chips for dinner...rly cui...dont even taste like fish...tasted like pure flour...fried...tt's all...sux...my area nds some powerful 24hr kopi tiams...

sadd-ed...my mobtv promo code expired...did not fnish watching my 辣兄辣妹...nd to find movtv acc le... xD got new suikoden coming out for nitendo ds...making me gian...to jus buy ds for it...no money no talk...pay day come faster pls...and now...slp time again...incoming monday blues...
