woke up by yuyan's sms at 1130...but went back to sleep for another 1 hr before going online to arrange the time to meet to go to the IT show...wanted to go sg pools 1st...but seeing the queue...i backtracked to the mrt so i wun be late...but the idiot was late instead...for a whole 15 frigging minutes...if the other party was a girl...fine...but wait 15min for a bloody guy?that's too much ya...
anyway we proceeded to subway for lunch and then crossed the mega big road to suntec cause the overhead bridge was crowded like mad...luckily a kind cab driver stopped for us to cross...i bet he has good ren pin...may he enjoy good fortune...once we entered suntec...the whole damn building was flooded with people...traffic was terrible...but we finally made it to the 1st level of the IT show...Sony and Microsoft dominated the entire level...more sony less microsoft...HD plasma and lcd tvs were everywhere with the tempting PS3 consoles...
went up the next floor...mostly the big brand names...went to epson and saw roy...carried on to creative for yuyan to take a look at the mp3 players...after that we walked around and went up another level looking at random stuff...pda phones...mp3 players...laptops...handphones...nothing much...
but as usual...one must-see at the IT show will be the girls!my pick will be the o2, nikon, asus, lemon, canon, sony ericsson...lenovo was disappointing...did not get to see the 1s i was expecting to see...i'm sad...but...overall...it was a good eye candy exp...lol...
backtracked to the creative booth so yuyan could get his mp3 player...creative queue was frigging long...and 2 fucking china men went and ask yuyan what was he doing in the queue...he told them he was queuing up to make payment...and within 2min of the question being answered...he was asked again by the same china men with the same question...and something else happened while we were at the IT show...click

after getting the mp3 player...we went to the other parts of suntec...and on the big plasma screen outside perlini's silver...i saw...SG POOLS AD ON IT!omg...there's a new outlet in suntec...cool...went to find it...and after a lot of yuan wang lu...finally found it tucked behind the escalator...bought a bit...and went to ya kun for some bread...and i bought a $19 numpad for my laptop...saw wenxiang and jindi with their friend too somewhere in suntec...
then we went to marina square...the creative store...lol...the prices were the same as the IT show's...minus the crowd...plus the air con...plus the validity of the receipt to get a membership card...the IT show receipt cant be used...yuyan was scammed...i bought a $39 speaker there...cheapest one in the whole store...now using it...happy with it...loitered around abit some more and then we proceeded home...
in conclusion...IT show is good for those with extra cash to spare...i could only look and not buy...the pda phones...the audio enhancements...the lcd monitors...the printers...and of course...the PS3...squeezing with the crowd was not that fun at all with the warm air...but the show girls made me overlook this negative point somehow...so i guess...it's neutralized...
looking forward to the next IT show...wishing for newer and better products which will suit my budget...the girls of course...main reason i guess...yuyan wanted to go get his mp3 player and i was bored at home...so i went...hope i can get to go next year...NS commitments come to mind...more cash on hand will be required as well...
